You don't register an account, and the address self-destructs after about 10 minutes together with every message it received. It's meant for one-off sign-ups where you don't want to expose your personal inbox.

No. There is no account and no password — your browser session is what links you to the inbox. This also means the address isn't protected: anyone who knows the exact address could read its mail, so don't use it for anything sensitive.

10 minutes by default. Hit “Extend 10 min” as often as you need, or discard the address early. When it expires, the inbox and every message in it are permanently erased.

Yes. Incoming mail renders like a normal inbox, and attachments can be downloaded while the address is still active. Once it expires, attachments are deleted with everything else.

Not at the moment. This service is receive-only for now — you can read messages and download attachments, but replying or sending isn't available yet. We may add outbound reply later; if and when that happens, a “Reply” button will appear under the message.

It's safe for its intended job: keeping spam and tracking out of your real inbox. The trade-offs are real, though — there's no password protecting the inbox and no way to recover an expired address. Use it for throwaway sign-ups, never for banking, account recovery, or anything private.

Yes — using a disposable address for ordinary sign-ups, downloads and trials is legal in most places. What's not acceptable is using it to evade bans, commit fraud, harass people, or break a site's terms. Those are problems regardless of which email address you used.

Some sites check the sender's domain against blocklists of known disposable-email providers, usually to stop free-trial abuse. You can try another domain offered on this site, but there is no guaranteed bypass — if a service insists on a long-term address, use a real one.

Don't. You can't log back into an inbox that has expired, so any account whose password reset goes to a temporary address becomes unrecoverable. Use a temp address only for accounts you're prepared to abandon.

The address, its inbox, and all received messages are deleted from the database — there is no archive and no way to get them back. If you need something in a message, save it before the countdown ends.

Yes. Use the “Custom” button to choose your own name (3–20 characters: letters, numbers and . _ -), as long as it isn't taken. The domain button cycles through the receiving domains this site currently offers.
